Looking to get away to a tranquil rural escape space? Look no further.
We have 2.5 acres of peaceful Norfolk countryside for you to relax and enjoy or to use as a base for your exploration of the beautiful countryside and attractions nearby.
Caravanning and Camping in Rural Norfolk
We are Gilly, Peter, Harry and Jess.
Gilly a professional florist had owned our 2.5 acre rural grazing field for 14 years before we decided it was time to try and get permission to build our dream home to start a family and bring them up in an idyllic rural environment.
We completed our self-build in 2007 and since then have been finishing, tidying and making it our home and raising our family.
Over the years the number of horses we keep have declined and we ended up with lots of grass to maintain and thought it would be wonderful to share our beautiful space and location with others.
We hope you enjoy your visit and allow us to introduce you to the abundance of local places to visit, eat, adventure and of course to relax.
We hope you leave with a long lasting and fond memory of your stay.

Our menagerie of animals is the reason we are a no dogs sight unless by prior agreement with us.
We are a Camping & Caravanning Club CS, Members only site.
OUR FACILITIES
ON SITE FACILITIES
We are an adults only, 'Hideaway site' with the Camping and Caravanning Club.
Each pitch offers a 16amp electric hook-up. 10kw of power is included in your pitch fee for each night of your stay. Additional usage will be billed at the time of leaving.
We generate our own power via a 9kw solar installation and it is stored in an onsite battery to ensure you are always using green energy.
There is a picnic area with bench and a secluded campfire space too, so you can get away from it all. Bring your own marshmallows.
We run a Green Toilet and Rinse policy, so please arrive with your toilet cassette empty unless you already use Green Chem (non-formaldehyde) in your toilet and rinse system.
We have a NO dogs rule unless by prior agreement with us.
CAMPING FACILITIES
As we are a CS Hideaway site we don't have any shower or toilets available for campers.
However, those campers with your own facilities will be made very welcome of course.
